The United 2 End Campaign team were asked to write an essay to be featured in the Internationally respected Brain Journal about the campaign. It brings together, all in one place, a formal record of the endeavour, its aims, challenges and lessons learnt. We were delighted to be asked and we believe it to be an important, perhaps even a blueprint, template for working with government for taking science forward. We hope that it both positions the UK at the forefront of MND/ALS research but also brings that day when truly effective treatments arrive, closer.
