I am an experienced GP working across the NHS and private settings, combining clinical medicine with coaching skills. I’ve always taken a holistic view. 

I was brought into the MND world through my step daughter, Lillia, who developed symptoms of MND at 15 and was misdiagnosed for almost 4 years with Functional Neurological Disorder before receiving the correct diagnosis.

She has SOD1 MND. We have fought long and hard 24/7 to get her access to Tofersen for 6 months.  

Step-mum to Ollie, and mum to three of my own children. Slowly learning to play Golf.

My advocacy is rooted in lived experience of delayed diagnosis, fragmented care, and navigating complex pathways as both a clinician, a stepmum and patient advocate.
