EXPERTS-ALS pauses recruitment due to drug shortage
Yesterday EXPERTS-ALS announced that it is temporarily pausing recruitment due to a shortage of one of the current candidate drugs.
The drug screening platform, which uses a biomarker known as “neurofilament light” (NfL) to identify the most viable drug candidates, requires a minimum of two arms to be active at the same time.
Plans remain in place to add further drugs to the platform in the next few months.
